What Does Being an NDIS Unregistered Provider Mean?
Unregistered providers, like us, are small businesses that choose not to go through the formal NDIS registration process. This allows us to remain flexible and focused on delivering a wide variety of products while still offering services for Self-Managed and Plan-Managed NDIS participants.
Understanding Self-Managed and Plan-Managed NDIS Plans
Self-Managed NDIS Plans
With a Self-Managed plan, participants have full control over their funding. You can choose the services and products you need, purchase them directly, and claim reimbursements, provided they align with the goals outlined in your NDIS plan.
Plan-Managed NDIS Plans
Plan-Managed participants have a registered plan manager who handles the financial and administrative side of the NDIS plan. The plan manager works with you to purchase and approve services or products that meet your plan goals.
How to Purchase Serenity Kids Products Using Your NDIS Plan
For Self-Managed Plans
Option 1: Pay Upfront
- Browse our website, add your desired items to your cart, and complete checkout.
- Email us at support@serenitykids.com.au with the subject line "NDIS Invoice Request."
- Include the following details in your email:
- Full name
- Order number
- NDIS participant details (full name and NDIS number)
- A brief note confirming the items align with your NDIS plan goals
- We will send you a tax invoice for your claim.
Option 2: Claim Before Payment
- Email us at support@serenitykids.com.au with the subject line "NDIS Order Request."
- Include the following details:
- Full name
- Shipping address
- NDIS participant details (full name and NDIS number)
- List of items you wish to order, including quantities
- Confirmation that the items align with your NDIS plan goals
- We will email you a tax invoice to submit your claim. Once you receive reimbursement, you can complete payment, and we’ll ship your order.
For Plan-Managed Plans
- Email us at support@serenitykids.com.au with the subject line "Plan-Managed NDIS Order."
- Include the following details:
- Full name
- Shipping address
- Plan Manager’s name and contact details
- NDIS participant details (full name and NDIS number)
- List of items you wish to order, including quantities
- We will send the tax invoice directly to your Plan Manager for approval and payment. Once payment is received, we’ll confirm and ship your order.
What Products Can I Choose?

However, every NDIS plan is unique, and not all items may align with your specific goals. If you’re unsure whether a product is eligible, we recommend consulting with your Plan Manager or NDIS representative before purchasing. Serenity Kids cannot take responsibility for items that are not approved under your plan.
